Bad Apple Pleads Not Guilty

Paul Devine, the former Apple manager accused of taking some $2.5 million in kickbacks from Asian suppliers in return for information that helped them win the company’s business, has pleaded not guilty to charges of wire fraud and conspiracy. Apple claims Devine, over the course of more than three years, gave at least six Apple contractors product roadmaps, sales reports and other information that enabled them to win contracts to provide components for the iPod and iPhone.
